Lets welcome in the new year with a very local ghost hunt here in Leighton Buzzard!!

Constructed in 1838, The Buckingham Arms in Linslade was originally named the Railway Tavern. It’s named after was changed in 1840.

Due to changes in parish boundaries, there are limited archives available. What is known is that the building has a history of ghostly occurrences. It is rumored that the sound of doors slamming is often followed by the sound of footsteps thundering up and down the stairs. There are also tales of the front gate slamming shut when no one is present.

We invite you to join us for a supper and ghost hunt on January 16, 2025. We would be thrilled to have you! Guests are welcome to arrive at 7 PM, with dinner scheduled for 7:30 PM, followed by the investigation afterward. We aim to finish at midnight.

You will have three meal options to choose from: fish and chips, chicken and chips, or a vegetarian option featuring cheese and onion pasties served with beans and chips. I will reach out to you closer to the date to collect your food order before the event.
